Person Responsible for the Protection of Your Personal Data
Centro de Cultura Casa Lamm, S.C.; Centro de Estudios para la Cultura y las Artes Casa Lamm, A.C.; and Cultura Superior Mexicana LAAMM, A.C. (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Casa Lamm”) hereby state that the entity responsible for the collection, disclosure, storage, use, including access, handling, utilization, transfer, or disposal of personal data (hereinafter the “Processing”) shall be the educational institution that is providing the course or workshop in which you are enrolled.
To determine which Casa Lamm institution is providing your course, Casa Lamm is located at Álvaro Obregón No. 99, Colonia Roma, Cuauhtémoc Borough, C.P. 06700, Mexico City, Mexico.
In accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (hereinafter the “Law”), Casa Lamm has adopted all appropriate physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your personal data. Under no circumstances will we commercialize your personal data without your prior written consent.
For What Purposes Do We Collect and Use Your Personal Data?
Your personal data will be used for the following purposes:
- To provide educational and institutional services, including library services, and the organization of cultural and academic activities.
- To use your data in procedures required to be carried out before administrative authorities in order to obtain the academic degree corresponding to the program in which you are enrolled.
- To inform you about changes in our services, prices, availability, and payment conditions.
- To include you in your academic record.
- To send information electronically regarding our services.
Additionally, by providing your data, you authorize Casa Lamm to use your information for marketing, statistical, promotional, advertising, informational, or commercial prospecting purposes through emails, newsletters, and direct telephone calls concerning the activities, products, and services offered by Casa Lamm, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and/or business partners. These purposes are not necessary for, nor do they give rise to, the legal relationship between you and Casa Lamm.
How Can I Express My Refusal for the Use of My Data for Non-Essential Purposes?
If you do not agree with the use of your data for any of the so-called “non-essential purposes,” or if you wish to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data, you may express your refusal or limitation within a period of five (5) business days from the date you became aware of this Privacy Notice by:
- Submitting a written request to the Personal Data Officer of Casa Lamm and delivering it to the above-mentioned address or sending it by email to: datospersonales@casalamm.com.mx
- Indicating your full name and address or another means to receive a response.
- Providing documents that prove your identity or, if applicable, the legal representation of the data subject.
- Specifying which purposes you wish to eliminate or the limitations you wish to establish.
Your rights of revocation and opposition shall remain fully protected. Once your request has been received, we will respond within twenty (20) business days, either by email or in writing, according to the information you provide. If additional information is required, the response period will begin once you have supplied the requested documentation.
What Personal Data Do We Collect and From Where?
For the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice, we may collect your personal data in various ways: when you provide it directly and in person; when you visit our website; when you use our online services; when you send it by email; or when we obtain information through phone calls or other lawful public sources.

- CURP (Mexican Unique Population Registry Code)
- Family data
- Credit card information
- Bank information (account number)
- Academic background
Sensitive Personal Data
To fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, the following sensitive personal data may be collected and processed:
- Current or future health status
We commit to handling such data under the strictest security measures to guarantee confidentiality. In accordance with Article 9 of the Law, we require your express consent for the processing of sensitive personal data. How Can You Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object to the Use of Your Personal Data?
You have the right to know what personal data we have about you and how it is used (Access). You may also request corrections if your data is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); deletion from our records or databases if you believe it is not being processed in accordance with legal principles (Cancellation); and to object to its use for specific purposes (Objection). These are known as ARCO rights.
To exercise any of these rights, you must submit your request as follows:
- Send a written request to the Personal Data Officer of Casa Lamm at the address mentioned above or by email to datospersonales@casalamm.com.mx.
- Provide your full name and address or another means to receive a response.
- Submit documentation that proves your identity or legal representation.
- Clearly describe the personal data and the ARCO right you wish to exercise, along with any information that may help locate your data.
We will respond within twenty (20) business days. If additional documentation is required, the response period will be counted from the date it is received. If you request access, the information may be provided via printed or electronic copies, depending on availability.
How Can You Revoke Your Consent?
You may revoke the consent you have granted for the processing of your personal data. Please note that not all revocations can be processed immediately due to legal obligations. In some cases, revoking consent may prevent us from providing services or may terminate your relationship with Casa Lamm.
To revoke consent, submit a written request following the same process described above, clearly indicating which data is involved.
International Transfers and Data Sharing
Casa Lamm only transfers personal data to educational, tax, administrative, or judicial authorities to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes with data subjects.
This also applies to data shared with service providers involved in data management, customer service, payment processing, promotions, and product delivery.
In accordance with Article 37 of the Law, your consent is not required for these transfers.
Casa Lamm does not transfer personal data in any situation requiring additional consent.
Amendments to the Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to make modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice at any time in response to legislative changes, internal policies, or new service requirements.
